Attend our signature candidate training program, with intensive leadership and skills building that will prepare you for civic leadership from the community to the Capitol.
UPDATE: THE DEADLINE FOR READY TO LEAD SCHOOLS IS NOW FEBRUARY 7TH.
WHY: Nearly one in five Americans is an immigrant or a child of an immigrant. Yet current policies, at the state level in particular, are found to be hostile towards immigrants. Additionally, at the national level, we have not been able to achieve any consensus on sensible immigration reform policy. We believe both are the direct result of a lack of elected officials who reflect the needs and interests of new Americans and immigrant communities.
WHO CAN APPLY: Anyone with an immigrant background who has a connection to the community and a demonstrated record of leadership.
COST: The cost of the training is $150, which covers all training materials, sessions and food. Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging. A limited number of scholarships are available (applicants who have declared to run for a particular office at the time of applying must pay the full fair market value of the training).
