Ready To Lead-Colorado. April 2015

100 scenes in 1 minute from the Colorado Training.

We just finished our latest Ready to Lead training in Colorado, and are excited to welcome a new class of alumni!

A big thank you to our Colorado and national partners for making this training possible: Servicios de la Raza, the Colorado Latino ForumLatino Community Foundation of Colorado, and the Wellstone Center for Community Action.

23 new Ready to Lead Colorado 2015 alumni are excited and more prepared to lead their communities.

The weekend was busy, but engaging and empowering.

The powerful “Voices from the Field” Panel featured invaluable advice from Former Colorado State Senator Polly Baca, Denver School Board Member Rosemary Rodriguez, Colorado State Representative Dominick Moreno, and former University of Colorado Regent Joe Neguse.

On Sunday, Colorado State Representative Crisanta Duran stopped by to share her campaign as an in-depth case-study.

Represent 2020

The New American Leaders Project’s Represent 2020 Report shows that Colorado will need to elect 3 more Asians and 25 more Latinos to achieve parity by 2020.
